Over 115,000 square feet of concrete make up a Germ Tower and Kiln Tower in the Malt House No. 06 expansion project. Both slip form structures required around-the-clock pours lasting 10 and 7 days respectively. Rice Lake Construction Group self-performed the excavation and base slabs for both towers as well as the process pipe and equipment installation throughout the structures. The project also included a 30’ diameter water tank with structural lid to support a steel barley garner bin.
