Wade Leonard

Wade, the CEO and president of Rice Lake Construction Group, has been around the construction industry his entire life. Wade’s father was a carpenter superintendent on many water, wastewater and hydro projects for companies including Acton, Austin P. Keller and A&P Construction. As a youth Wade worked on many of his father’s projects learning the business from the ground up.

Wade started his career as a project manager for Austin P. Keller Construction prior to coming to work for Rice Lake. Wade was involved in the first water and wastewater treatment plants that Rice Lake built and has been instrumental in growing the company from less than $5 million in sales to over $100 million in current sales. Wade has also been responsible for a wide range of projects including water and wastewater, flood protection, dams, and various industrial projects, both as a project engineer and project manager.

Wade has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota Institute Of Technology.
